Rezidence Ostrovní is located in the immediate vicinity of the National Theatre exactly opposite Žofín Palace on the riverbank and yet in a quiet street without the noise of a large city. Due to its excellent location, it offers a comfortable transport connection from any part of Prague, and the majority of Prague’s historical monuments, such as the Charles Bridge, Střelecký Island, Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square, the Rudolfinum, the Dancing House, etc., are within walking distance.
Rezidence Ostrovní is easily accessible by public transport and car. It is one minute away from the “Národní divadlo” tram stop (lines 6, 9, 17, 18 and 22) and five walking minutes away from the "Můstek" or "Národní třída" underground stops.
You can park on Divadelní Street near the Rezidence, where the parking tariff is CZK 30 per hour from 8 AM to 6 PM; parking is free from 6 PM to 8 AM and on Sundays and public holidays.
Parking is also possible in the garage of the National Theatre directly across from the Rezidence. The parking fee is CZK 50 per hour (CZK 1,200/24 h) and is paid by the guest at an automatic cash register when leaving the garage.
Rezidence Ostrovní is located directly in the center of Prague, and therefore all public facilities are within walking distance. There are plenty of cultural institutions and historic monuments, as well as shops, exchange offices, restaurants, cafés, tea houses and bars in the vicinity of the Rezidence.
